2019 Anaesthetic Registrars: Basic And Advanced Trainees

About the Role
The Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Western Health provides services for approximately 30,000 Surgical procedures and >5,500 deliveries a year. With the exception of Cardiac, all surgical specialities are represented. In addition, the Anaesthetic Department runs a busy acute and chronic pain service, teaching program and is actively involved in ongoing research and audit.
The Department employs 32 Registrars at any one time - rotating through the North Western and Southern Rotational Programs and Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine Training Schemes.
The Department has two (2) Registrar positions available for anaesthesia trainees not affiliated with a Victorian rotational training program and with a minimum of 24 months accredited experience in anaesthesia in Australia or Overseas. One position is immediately available and would run until the end of the 2019 Hospital Employment Year (February 2020). The other position opens in August 2019 and also terminates at the end of the 2019 Hospital Employment Year.
