Brimbank Youth Services is seeking the services of an energetic and innovative person to support actions as related to the Brimbank Youth Strategy 2020-24. With a focus on supporting young people to have a voice and the development of the Brimbank Youth Council in February 2020 - an exciting period approaches for Brimbank Youth Services.

This role will support key actions withinin the 'Young Communities' team with a focus on also supporting young people to have active roles within the team. The position will also work closely with both external and internal stakeholders as related to Council's 'Youth Participation and Enagement Model' - relating to engagement with young people and service provision to their identified needs along with involvement of young people in processes relating to them.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have a degree qualification in social science, youth work, social work, community development or it's equivalent and relevant experience in the delivery of youth services?

Essential: Do you have Demonstrated experience in leading the provision of youth health and wellbeing programs through a community development context in a local government setting?

Essential: Do you have a High level of skills in program planning and development, implementation of programs for young people and evaluation processes?

Essential: Do you have Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and provide staff support and supervision to ensure effective delivery of services?

Essential: Do you have Demonstrated knowledge in the design, implementation and evaluation of health promotion and community capacity building projects?
