How the Traineeship works:
Under the Traineeship, you will be employed by the Conveyancing Firm as a Trainee and gain valuable skills and work experience, whilst at the same time studying for a Nationally recognised accredited qualification, the Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal) during allocated time each week at work.

The role:
This Traineeship Legal Administration/Secretary/Reception role has arisen with a great specialist Conveyancing Company located in Narre Warren. There is free car parking close by and the train is a short walk away. There are also many shops, cafes etc close by. It's a very varied role and just some of the duties include:
  • Answering incoming calls and helping where possible, including dealing with general enquiries and queries.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors.
  • Inputting new client information into the Conveyancing database.
  • Dealing with clients and banks by telephone.
  • Arranging property settlements.
  • Copying, scanning, binding and preparing Contracts of Sale and other legal documents.
To be suited for this Traineeship, you will have an interest in working in Legal and Conveyancing, as well as a strong desire to gain a Nationally-Recognised Legal qualification in a legal administrative position. In addition, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Able to commit to a Traineeship.
  • Successfully completed VCE and hold a qualification no higher than Certificate II - unless you gained it whilst still at school.
  • Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen residing in Australia for over 6 months.
  • Basic typing and Microsoft Word skills.
  • Good spelling and grammar.
  • Able to speak with clients and others in a clear, friendly, professional and confident manner.
  • Be hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable.
  • Be able to lift reasonably heavy boxes, files etc on a regular basis.
