The Role

The Junior Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and support the Senior Accountants in arrange of tasks due to an increased volume of work. The duties will initially include a high volume of processing with accounting support and over time, as you gain a greater understanding of the business and their processes, you will progress to more complex and senior level work.

Duties include:

• Process and update financial data to ensure that information is accurate and available at short notice
• Reconcile payments and transactions
• Process of invoices
• Liaise closely with Sales and customer support teams
• Support senior team members with Month-end/Year-end tasks

You will be supported continuously with your personal/professional development and the progression opportunities will be outlined early.

Your Profile

You will have a minimum of 1-2 years professional experience in a finance related role such as Accounts Officer, Assistant Accountant or AP/AR specialised role.

A bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or similar is desirable. Candidates who have commenced their CA/CPA or have an intention to do so are also encouraged to apply.

Crucially, you will be a motivated and driven candidate with a willingness to learn new skills, learn the nuances of a growing industry and a desire to further your career in a fast paced environment.
