Your Role

As a case manager, you’ll work alongside your own team and the wider claims departments towards a single goal: providing quality service and care for Injured Workers and our clients.

You’ll be a central point of contact for your own portfolio of injured workers at an integral part of their claims journey, and provide guidance and expertise to a range of stakeholders relating to medical requests and entitlements. Our case managers play a vital part in ensuring Injured Worker’s and Employers have a trusted partner in the claims process.

You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:
Taking ownership of your portfolio of Medical Expenses Only and closed-period Claims for injured workers
Providing Workers Compensation claims advice and customer service to all involved parties such as injured workers and their employers
Liaising with and providing a high level of customer service to injured workers directly with relation to their claim, as well as liaising and building rapport with providers and employers to monitor effective medical treatment programs for injured workers
Utilising and developing effective claims management tools and skills, and working with your wider team of claims management specialists to ensure the delivery of quality service for all

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess:
Case management experience, or studies within the Psychology, Legal, Social work or Allied Health/Health Science disciplines (ideal, but not essential)
Recent work experience within a customer service focussed role
Exceptional time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude
An aptitude for working within a dynamic, fast paced and challenging environment
