Role Introduction

PFM are currently working on an exciting new initiative providing housing maintenance services in the ACT region. As a consequence, we are currently recruiting for the position of Claims Administrator - Trainee.

The purpose of the Claims Administrator - Trainee will be to provide all round administrative support to the Customer Service & Administration Centre Manager and Team Members.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures administrative and support processes are adhered to in line with PFM quality systems and processes.
  • Ensures all administrative processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generates reports as required and meets specified timeframes and quality standards.
  • Provide support with invoices, claims and job orders to ensure compliance with Programmed standards.
  • Maintains an effective filing system
  • Provides administrative support for projects as required.
  • Provides feedback and participates in continuous improvement initiatives to assist the Manager improve results.
  • Supports cultural initiatives and programs implemented within PFM and Programmed.
  • Actively identifies hazards in the workplace and assists in eliminating them.
  • Ensures that required compliance based activities are undertaken in a timely and satisfactory manner.

  • Intermediate level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic organisational skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

  • Strives for Successful Quality outcomes for the Social Housing Clients
Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous work exposure to an administrative role
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in Windows (Microsoft)
  • High level of Spelling & Grammar skills
