Moonee Valley Internships Program Final Intake 2015
We are now opening up our last round for the year 2015 giving young people the opportunity to gain valuable experiences in the community sector.
Unemployed young people between the ages of 16-24 years are highly encouraged to apply.
This internship is designed for marginalised young people who are interested in Community Development, Social Work or Business Administration.
Young people must be currently unemployed. They will need to commit to 1-2 days per week for a period of approx. 8-10 weeks (negotiable).
Throughout the internship we’ll support the successful candidates intensively with pathway planning, equipping them for future roles and the competitive job market, supporting them with the transition to education or training and with finding a job.
We will pay a total of $200 (approx. $20 per week) to cover costs related to this role (volunteer allowance to help with travel, lunch etc.).
CLOSING DATE: September 9 2015
This is a rolling intake so if you miss this date you can always apply for the next time around :)
Applicants must include a Cover Letter and their Resume (see sample Cover Letter attached). Please, email application to annalemcke@mmvllen.org.au OR ross@mmvllen.org.au
